In 2014 the In Flanders Fields Museum in Ieper, Belgium created an exhibit to mark the centenary of The Great War. One the featured displays was ‘Canada in Flanders’ that highlighted Canada’s participation in the Ypres salient area during the war. The 15^th Battalion CEF Memorial Project provided assistance to the exhibit in the form of digital images of 15^th Battalion insignia and of one of the earliest transcriptions of John McCrae’s poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ made by Lt Col William Marshall Commanding Officer of the 15^th Battalion.
