Battle Honours of the 15th Battalion C.E.F (48th Highlanders of Canada)
In recognition of its service during the First World War, in 1928 the 15th Battalion, perpetuated by the 48th Highlanders of Canada, was awarded 21 Battle Honours – ten of which were emblazoned on the Regimental Colour. As well as The Regimental Colour, the Battle Honours are also displayed on the Pipe Major’s pipe banner, the Drum Major’s baldric, the drums of the Pipes and Drums and on the Regiment’s memorial in Toronto. |
